Stress Down Day is an initiative that raises funds for Lifeline. To show our appreciation for the vital support services Lifeline provides, Better Caring will be making a donation, and we want you to be a part of it!
What is Stress Down Day?
Feeling a little stressed about work, family or finances? Well, today is the perfect opportunity to put those stresses aside and focus on you.
A national initiative organised by Lifeline, Stress Down Day occurs on July 24 and is a time for the nation de-stress and take a step back from the things that might be stressful or overwhelming.
Even though every day should be a stress-free day, Stress Down Day recognises that 90 per cent of Australians suffer from stress, while 74 per cent of us experience stress from work.
So, whether you’re at work, at home, or with your family take a moment to stress down and focus on the lighter things in life. Need a few ideas on how you can stress less? Click here.
Better Caring wants you to get involved this Stress Down Day
Here at Better Caring, we understand the importance of maintaining good mental health. By connecting those seeking support to those willing to provide it, Better Caring fosters an interconnected community that prioritises mental, physical and emotional health.
To show our appreciation for Lifeline this Stress Down Day, Better Caring will be donating $200 with an overall aim to raise $500. On top of this, we’ll be celebrating Stress Down Day in our Sydney office by dressing down – our CEO is even spending the day in her ugg boots!
