Another exciting opportunity has come up to obtain a part qualification in Cert IV Ageing Support, Cert IV Disability, or Medication Assistance. Better Caring has teamed up with BCA National Training Group (RTO 91758) to greatly enhance your current skillset on the Better Caring platform.
This training is fully subsidised for eligible candidates through Smart and Skilled, a NSW Government training initiative.
These three training options are fully subsidised under the NSW Government’s Smart and Skilled initiative. To qualify, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- 15 years or older
- No longer in school
- Living or working in NSW
- AU/NZ citizen, AU permanent resident, AU humanitarian visa
If you are eligible, you could enrol in the following:
Option 1: Part Qualification Cert IV Ageing Support
Option 2: Part Qualification Cert IV Disability
Option 3: Medication Assistance
Please note you must be offering personal care in order for this new qualification to display on your profile after completion of the course i.e. you are still able to participate if you are registered for social support and domestic assistance only, but this will not be displayed as a service you offer.
*comprehensive practical skills will be tested as part of this course
